    Twenty-seven states currently have offices in Japan. See the website of the State Offices Association (ASOA) in Japan.

    There is the list on the website of the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations (CLAIR). Then select the U.S. Municipalities hoping to become a sister city with Japanese cities are listed here (in Japanese).
